Ambassador of the World Women Observatory

As an Ambassador of the World Women Observatory (WWO), I am deeply committed to championing the voices of women and girls, particularly those silenced by gender-based violence and societal inequalities. My passion for empowerment, advocacy, and visibility aligns seamlessly with WWO’s mission—to ensure that no woman remains unheard, unseen, or forgotten.

It has been a profound experience to be part of the Women Faith Leaders Fellowship Cohort 2025 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., alongside dedicated religious women from Ghana and Kenya. Each of us, in our respective ministries, works tirelessly to uplift women and girls, often in quiet corners where these efforts go unnoticed.

Through the Capstone Project presentations, I witnessed the incredible ways in which religious women across Africa provide refuge, support, and opportunities for the most vulnerable. We stand as silent architects of hope, confronting gender-based violence, nurturing resilience, and advocating for systemic change in our communities.

This fellowship has been an enriching journey of learning, listening, and engaging with the Georgetown University community, and we eagerly anticipate another transformative week. More than an academic exchange, it is a catalyst for action, strengthening our collective commitment to WWO’s mission of empowerment and advocacy.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Women Faith Leaders Fellowship organizers and sponsors for creating this space where the incredible contributions of religious women can be recognized, amplified, and supported.

Together, as women of faith and ambassadors of change, we continue to empower, heal, and transform ensuring that women and girls everywhere find strength, dignity, and a future free from oppression.
